1 – Java has some issues on using too much 3rd party libraries, PHP does not have this issue. It uses its own PHP libraries.
2 – As for deployment and scalability, PHP is more simple. Although expansion and increase of load will take some hard-coding configurations

1 – More robust and better performance.
2 – Almost the industry standard.
